Welcome Pines alumni! Since our founding in 1980, the fraternity has grown tremendously thanks to all of your amazing efforts. The effects that we have on our Alma mater campus and community have also taken a growth. As an alumnus, I can see that what we learn while an active Brother on campus affects us positively in our own current communities. Due to this growth and productivity I am now creating a firm and permanent brotherhood with one another and a better relationship with our Alma mater.
As alumni, we are already recognized by the North Adams community for our efforts in helping those in need. One personal experience I will never forget was the renovation of a home on the Mohawk Trail for a Habitat for Humanity project; if you know me I am a little man that barely weighs 145 pounds. That aside, the reason for the project, the bonding with my brothers, and the community made every sore muscle in my body worth it.
Today I am thankful for Matthew Jennings ’09, this amazing brotherhood, and our network. Many brothers also stand in their current roles at major companies thanks to this achievement. Technology, since our founding days, has made it easier than ever to stay in touch. With our online communication and marketing efforts, we will further become productive on preserving where we are present day. Let us begin to slowly expand this network and make it more official with our active Brothers!
This website is the small and humble beginning to a new chapter of our fraternity. I would like to make it clear that if you pledged Pi Upsilon Pi and transferred to another college or university, you are still an alumni! Feel free to visit our Facebook page, Twitter and the soon to be launched LinkedIn. If you would like to stay in touch outside of online services, please just simply email your personal information to me directly. Feel free to contact me at any point if you have any questions, suggestions or requests.
